About Us

Soocha means “thread” in Kashmiri — a simple word that holds everything we stand for.

We create handcrafted clothing in collaboration with artisans from Kashmir, Lucknow, and Rajasthan — regions where embroidery has deep roots. Our pieces are designed in-house and made slowly, intentionally, with skill passed down through generations.

Each garment reflects our belief in inclusive sizing, thoughtful design, and craft that matters.

Soocha is not about seasons or trends.
It’s about timeless clothing, made for all women — and made to last.

This is the art of dressing, reimagined.

Soocha is my dream brought to life — a reflection of my journey, my passion, and my roots. I’m an IT engineer by education, an MBA by profession, and an artist at heart. From a young age, I was deeply drawn to the richness of Indian art and culture. Over the years, that curiosity grew into an unshakable love for handcrafted textiles and traditional design.

After spending 7+ years in the corporate world, refining my skills in business strategy, branding, and design thinking, I felt a pull — stronger than ever — to return to what truly moved me. That pull became even more meaningful when I became a mother. As I stepped into this new chapter of life, I knew I wanted to build something that not only honored India’s incredible artisan heritage but also spoke to the urban woman I had become.

Soocha was born out of that vision. We work directly with artisans from Kashmir, Lucknow, and Rajasthan to bring you handwoven, handcrafted clothing that blends traditional threadwork with contemporary silhouettes. Every design is a blend of deep-rooted culture and modern elegance — created with care, made for all body types, and meant to feel as empowering as it looks.

Soocha is more than a brand — it’s a tribute to resilience, motherhood, art, and the freedom to follow your passion no matter where you are in life. I created Soocha for women like us — strong, expressive, and deeply connected to our roots, yet always looking forward.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

With love,
